Charleston Radio Group’s I Am Voices campaign provides aid to victims of human trafficking

On Friday, May 20th the Charleston Radio Group used their voices in morning drive to help a key non-profit that is terribly underfunded called: I AM VOICES.  It is the ONLY safe house and program that takes in girls that are victims of HUMAN TRAFFICKING.

This problem is not talked about because it does not fit the “Narrative” of Charleston as “Americas Best City to Visit.”  But just to keep it  in perspective at last years PGA GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP on the exclusive area called KIAWEH ISLAND…There are still 50 young girls that attended the event either as a visitor or staff worker that they can not FIND.

Below is on-air personality Chef with the founder Megan Manigault (who was a victim of human trafficking at 4 years old) and North Charleston Police Chief Reggie Burgess helping to raise money. ALL stations participated.
