This November, Sunny 95 in Columbus, Ohio, hosted an incredible Day of Thanks charity event benefitting Nationwide Children’s Hospital. On-air personalities Stacy, Dino, and Greg from Sunny This Morning ran interviews throughout the day, with Miss Nina picking up the afternoon shift. The broadcast saw doctors, event partners, and other guests sharing personal stories and experiences, heartwarming moments, and inspirational stories with listeners. The fundraiser was able to collect over $120,000 in donations to help support the hospital’s mission.
Another focus of the event was supporting children’s mental health, and why talking about mental health with children is so important. A feature from Marti Post, executive director of On Our Sleeves, shared various child-focused mental health resources available to parents through her organization as well as through Operation: Conversation.
