Rock 102 – Mayflower Marathon Thanks 2022
The 2022 annual Mayflower Marathon hosted at the MGM Springfield was a huge success for the Springfield community! We were able to successfully raise over $171,000 for the Open Pantry. Over the course of the 52 hour live broadcast, the team was able to fill three 53-foot trailers as well as an additional 20-foot box truck to help with the overflow. Event partner MGM Springfield was generously able to provide the overflow truck. In 29 years of running the Mayflower Marathon event, this year was by far the record breaker and the most successful iteration of the event to date. The event was hosted by ROCK 102 on-air personalities Bax & Steve. In the attached audio, Bax gives the final total that was raised by the event as Steve signs off the air at 10am at the end of the broadcast marathon.
