CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The 14th annual Beaver 100.3 Camp Rainbow Radiothon raised $64,735 for the camp, which is held each year for children with special medical needs. The two-day event, held Feb. 16 and 17, featured Beaver on-air personalities, led by the Chris and Monica Morning Show, who shared heartwarming stories from campers, counselors and parents about how Camp Rainbow has touched their lives.
“This year’s radiothon was another amazing experience. Seeing the community pull together for the 14th year is just amazing. I can’t thank everyone enough. Everyone at the Beaver 100.3 did an amazing job. The money will make for another great year at camp,” said Camp Rainbow Director Jereme Miner.
Since 2009, the radiothon has raised more than $870,000 for kids to enjoy Camp Rainbow.
“This shows you when the community comes together to help kids what great positive things can happen. We want to thank everybody, and it’s just amazing what people do to help others in this community,” said Beaver 100.3 Program Director Mike Sanders.
