Harrisonburg, VA –HRG’s annual blanket drive, branded as “Share The Warmth” took place again this November, to benefit Mercy House, a nonprofit organization with multiple programs combating poverty and homelessness, servicing Harrisonburg and surrounding areas. This year, needs changed a bit for them. In addition to blankets, listeners were also encouraged to donate new sheets, pillows, and other bedding for those in need this Winter. The Valley stepped up once again and HRG was able to donate a van full of bedding to Mercy House who will make sure those who are without shelter get the warmth they need.
