C-bus Media Group’s Sunny 95 Radiothon Raises Over $91,000 for Nationwide Children’s Hospital

Saga Communications’ Sunny 95 (WSNY-FM), in partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network, proudly announced that this year’s Sunny 95 Radiothon raised $91,252 to support life-changing care for children and families treated at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

The two-day broadcast event was hosted by Sunny 95’s popular morning show team, Randi & Rice In The Morning, who shared inspiring stories from patients, families, and caregivers to encourage community donations.

“Nationwide Children’s Hospital isn’t just a world-class medical facility—it’s a beacon of hope for families here in Columbus and across the globe,” said Todd Markiewicz, President & General Manager of Sunny 95. “We’re honored to use our platform to help support the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff who dedicate their lives to helping kids heal and thrive.”

Support for the Radiothon came from hundreds of Sunny 95 listeners and local businesses who became “Miracle Makers,” pledging donations to ensure that every child receives the care they need—regardless of their family’s ability to pay. A standout contribution came from Eco Plumbers, Electricians & HVAC Technicians, whose $5,000 donation continues a long-standing tradition of community generosity.

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is one of the leading pediatric hospitals in the nation and is on track to become the largest children’s hospital in the world. Each year, families from around the world travel to Columbus to access its world-renowned expertise and compassionate care.
