Lafayette Media Group (LMG) radio stations WASK, K-105 (WKOA-FM), and B102-9 (WXXB-FM) held
their annual Riley Radiothon at the Tippecanoe Mall on Wednesday, May 21st from 6am-9am; 3pm-6pm
& Thursday, May 22nd from 6am-9am; 2pm-6pm. The three stations simulcasted the radiothon, playing
a mix of country, classic hits, and CHR music. Local Riley families shared their stories on-air and on
Facebook Live.
After the two-day radiothon, LMG raised $71,737 for Riley Hospital for Children. Melissa Sexton,
Community Fundraising Program Officer for Riley Children’s Foundation, couldn’t be happier. “Just
about everyone has or knows someone with a Riley story,” Sexton said. “I am always impressed with
how the Lafayette and surrounding communities support this radiothon every year”
In October 2024, the Lafayette Media Group was inducted in the inaugural class of the Riley Children’s
Foundation Noble Society, which recognizes individuals or groups who have contributed at least $1
million to Riley Hospital for Children.
