Columbus, OH – Qfm96 (WLVQ-FM) proudly announces that its Red, White & Q Fund awarded $31,000 in grants this year to eight deserving Central Ohio charities supporting veterans, active military members, first responders, and their families.
Now in its eighth year, the Red, White & Q Fund has distributed more than $180,000 in grants to 51 local charities and nonprofits. Each November, Qfm96 hosts its annual on-air Red, White & Q Radiothon, where selected organizations receive grants and the opportunity to share their missions live with listeners.
This year’s recipients included a range of organizations—from fire & police departments in need of critical equipment and training, to nonprofits offering ROTC scholarships,
organizations that provide active military care packages, support for veteran owned businesses and resources for disabled veterans. Qfm96’s on-air personalities welcomed each group to highlight the important work they do in Central Ohio communities.
“Supporting our community isn’t just something we talk about at Qfm96 and Cbus Media Group — it’s a core pillar of who we are. Red, White & Q is one of our most meaningful initiatives, allowing us to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our incredible listeners to support the veterans and first responders who protect us every day. Year after year, Red, White & Q delivers critical resources and equipment to the organizations serving those heroes, and I couldn’t be prouder of our team for the passion and dedication they bring to this mission.” Said Todd Markiewicz, President & General Manager of Qfm96.
Mike Dorsey, Program Director of Qfm96 adds; Our Red, White & Q Fund is one of the things we’re most proud of,”. “It’s our way of giving back to the local heroes who protect and serve our communities every day. The generosity of our listeners and sponsors makes this possible year after year.”

The Red, White & Q Fund was established by Qfm96 in partnership with The Columbus Foundation to provide ongoing financial support to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that serve veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families throughout Central Ohio.
This year’s support was made possible by contributions from Delaware County Veterans Services, Valley Ford of Columbus, and the dedicated listeners of Qfm96.
