The 28th Annual WKLH Miracle Marathon presented by Mars Family Foundation united the Milwaukee community on May 7-8, 2026, in support of Children’s Wisconsin. Through powerful stories shared by patients, families, caregivers and Milwaukee’s Hometown Morning Show.
This event inspired listeners to give generously toward lifesaving pediatric care. Building on the incredible success of raising more than $1million in 2025, the Miracle Marathon has now generated over $31 million during its 28-year history, making it the largest fundraiser benefiting the Children’s Wisconsin. This year we were able to raise $1.016 million dollars to support our partners at Children’s. Every dollar raised stays local, ensuring children and families throughout southeastern Wisconsin receive the care they need.

This year, we had special guests from Marquette University basketball team and comedian Charlie Berens and many others to support the cause. We were able to surprise patients with special moments like dinosaur visits, mini graduations and Brewers tickets. Every year, this event educates our listeners about the great work that Children’s does for the community and we are honored to be apart.
To further support the mission WKLH partners with Jim Lombardo who host an annual event called Greater Lombardo Open (GLO) which is a golf event that raises over $100,000 annually to give to Children’s Hospital. We are excited to join Jim at GLO for the 2026 event on July 13, 2026.
