LAZER 103.3’s Walking Fed Food Drive raises $36,680 for Central Iowans fighting hunger

LAZER 103.3’s Walking Fed, presented by Confluence Brewing Company, is a mission to fight food insecurity for kids across Central Iowa heading into spring break with the Food Bank of Iowa. In 2024, they raised over $29,000 and sought to reach a higher goal of $30,000 this year.

LAZER’s annual Costumes for Kids Drive turns in record donation

Des Moines, Iowa, radio station KAZR, in partnership with Goodwill of Central Iowa, was able to collect and distribute over 500 Halloween costumes for kids who wouldn’t otherwise have been able to afford one.

Thanks to LAZER 103.3 listeners, over 500 costumes and accessories were collected and donated to Children & Families of Iowa, where they were distributed to kids within their child development programs across the state of Iowa.
