The first ever “Valley Cares for Kids Radiothon” raised just over 25-thousand dollars as the 12-hour event ended. According to Erin Chandler with UVA Health Children’s Hospital, the fundraiser surpassed the 25K mark in the final hour, raising $25,613 dollars.
