CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The 18th annual Beaver 100.3 Camp Rainbow Radiothon raised $93,210 for the camp, which is held each year for children with special medical needs. The two-day radiothon, Feb. 12 and 13, featured Beaver on-air personalities who shared heartwarming stories from campers, counselors and parents about how Camp Rainbow has touched their lives.

“Once again, amazing that we’ve come up with and hit the number that beat last year’s record,” said Camp Director Jereme Miner. “We’re just truly blessed to have the community behind us all the way around. For all the people that donated, all the volunteers, from the bottom of my heart, thank you from Camp Rainbow.”
Since 2009, the radiothon has raised more than $1 million for kids to enjoy Camp Rainbow.
“This just shows that when a community comes together to help kids, great things can happen,” said 5 Star Media Group Operations Manager Ryan Ploeckelman. “We want to thank everybody who donated, who shared their stories, and who volunteers at this event. It’s awesome to be part of something that can change a kid’s life.”
